About Women's History

Students at Beloit Memorial are fortunate to be at a school that offers a comprehensive, modern curriculum.  They get the opportunity to take courses that not many high school students are able to take.  Women's History is one of those courses that isn't offered at many high schools.  It's designed for students who have a strong interest in women's place in American history and the issues they still face today.  Our story starts with the colonization of America and ends at the present day.  We discuss topics like sexism, abuse, anorexia/bulemia, and more.
